Gear Review: OutdoorsmanLab UltraLight sleeping pad (Tried and Tested)

Lightweight backpacking is a combination of mentality and gear. Even though going lightweight is (clearly) about having a lighter, more comfortable pack while hiking, a good night sleep is just as important. This pad compromises the two.

OutdoorsmanLab is not a very well know the company, and this pad could be a knock-off for all I know (comment down below if you think it is), however, it works pretty damn good for a cheap pad. I tested this pad over a 3 day, 2-night hike and it was amazing. The pad only takes around 10 to 15 breaths to blow up, whereas some self-inflating pads take 30 minutes. It does not make a “kricling” sound that you would expect out of a low to the ground pad. It is super comfortable any way you sleep.
